Compensation: $28.85-$31.25/ hour

Who You Are: (From Position Summary - may need to wordsmith)

Catholic Charities is looking for a Junior Network Administrator to join the Information Technology (I.T.) department. They will provide support for network operations and desktop support. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work in the following areas: operations, maintenance, component installation, modifications necessary to support network hardware and software used. This position includes management of a queue of user requests and maintenance of asset records in our help desk software. This position works in a team environment closely with the I.T. Director and I.T. Support personnel


What You Will Work On:

  • Troubleshoots and maintains Windows Servers in a VMWare environment, SAN, switches, Wi- Fi, and other network hardware.
  • Assist with planning, recommendation, implementation, and maintenance of technical systems (e.g., LAN, SAN, Wi-Fi, storage, compute, cloud, backups, restores, AD).
  • Provide daily support of I.T. operations by assisting with problem analysis, user help desk support, and service desk ticket resolution.

What You Bring:

Education, Certifications, and Licensure Requirements/Preferences

  • Bachelor's Degree (4-Year Program) or equivalent lived and or worked experience.

Experience Requirements/Preferences

  • 5 or more years of previous experience in PC Hardware and software experience
  • Three or more certifications, such as: A+, Network+, Security +, MCSA in Windows Server, Azure or Office 365, required.
  • Experience and knowledge of network technology such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, WAN/LAN/VLANs, VPN, Firewall, MFA, and Windows Deployment Toolkit, required.
  • Active Directory management Experience - all aspects (User, Group, Device, GPO, OU, DNS, File Systems, Patching, Upgrades) required.
